These are the words to describe these young women who hope to represent Miss Washington USA at Miss USA and Miss Washington Teen USA at Miss Teen USA, a pageant owned by NBCUniversal and Donald J Trump. The state-pageant qualifier is produced by Pageants NW. This year, it’s the first-time there’s a record number of Pan Asian contestants. Here they are:

Something People Don’t Know About Me: While cheering on the sidelines at Super Bowl XLVIII I had realized halfway through the game I had ripped a hole in my uniform … in the most embarrassing area of my pants! Well after all, it was a very exciting game.

Something People Don’t Know About Me: I traveled with Transcendental Media, a film company out of Long Beach California, to assist them in two stages of its Legacy Project. We traveled to Poland and South Africa observing the effects of past atrocities on current attitudes towards violence. It was an incredible experience. There are some things you cannot learn from a book.

Something People Don’t Know About Me: I’m extremely passionate about music. I’m a self-taught guitarist, I’ve been through 14 years of piano lessons, and I love to sing. I was also part of a band in high school. I love listening to all kinds of genres of music.
