Local author Sharon H. Chang will discuss her new book “Raising Mixed Race: Multiracial Asian Children in a Post-Racial World” from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29 at the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 1, Microsoft Auditorium. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Drawing from extensive research and interviews with sixty-eight parents of multiracial children, “Raising Mixed Race” examines the complex task of supporting children living amidst post-racial ideologies while being more than one race, specifically through an Asian lens.
