Are you an aspiring fashion designer?
Would you like to showcase your work to an Asian American audience of 300+ at the elegant Bell Harbor at Pier 66? Perhaps, you would like to see prominent Asian American community leaders such as Mona Locke model your design. If so, then apply for the International Examiner’s InspirAsian Fashion Show Competition. In celebration of our 35th anniversary, we are hosting a fashion show competition on Wed. May 20th at Bell Harbor, in Seattle. Selected designers will have the opportunity to showcase 2 designs and be required to create an Asian garment inspired piece. Applicants must be 21+ in order to compete. Turn in a portfolio with at least 5 designs to the IE office or email to development@iexaminer.org by March 6th, 2009. The winning designer will receive a cash prize provided by Comcast along with a front-page spread in our June issue of the International Examiner.
